  • I remember one book I loved in middle/high school. It was an emotional read, but it opened up a lot of conversations with my mother and friends. Reviving Ophelia. It is similar to the Chicken Soup for the Soul books, but the audience is pretty much younger women and girls.

• Where are the good books, with REAL people recommendations?

  • I have enjoyed a range... the anti-intellectual books such as the Twilight series and Chelsea Handler's memoirs are entertaining, David Sedaris has also been a fun read. I enjoy historical fiction, biographies and the classics we were all forced to read in High School.

  • In reference to the Twilight books- Meyers does a fantastic job of capturing yougn love, dependence and lust. Her second book's description of Bella's depression and heavy emotional response to Edward's disappearance brought me to tears as I read it on the plane.

  • Absolutely. There is that concept of an expected return, we girls give boys a little too much credit in that maturity department. My mother never said anything to me about it being a gift, it was a concept I came across in college when talking to a younger friend who was still a virgin.

  • Cycieties that is a gross exaggeration and bold stereotype of Republican motives. One should never vote solely based on party preference, instead they should look into the candidate, their promises and the reality of such promises. Show some patriotic responsibility.

  • I agree with DEEZEE it's exhausting to hear every political party blame their predescesors. Obama-Bush. Bush-Clinton. Clinton-Bush. And so on. I don't care with which party you align-- lets stop pointing the finger and find a way to fix whats going on-on our soil and abroad.

  • If there is a pending trial against BP, then BP can request a gag order which would cover such photos. These photos could impact their chance at an impartial jury, as very few people could claim no opinion after seeing all of the dead and injured wildlife.
